Sharon Iris Caton, 72, of Martinsburg, passed away, Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Canterbury Center.

Born July 18, 1944, in Berkeley County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Boyd Triggs, Sr. and Mildred Donivan Triggs.

She retired from the Berkeley County Board of Education as a teachers' aide.

Sharon enjoyed sports, watching the Bulldogs play, cake decorating, she was family orientated and loved taking care of children and her grandchildren.

She is survived her husband of 53 years, Larry Caton; two sons, Todd Caton and wife Gina, Craig Caton and wife, Tracy, one daughter, Lisa Caton; eight grandchildren, Philip, Christine, Justin, Carly, Brandon, Gabreille, Brady, and Bryson; three great grandchildren, Adrianna, Bella, Zoey; two brothers, Boyd Triggs, Jr. and Wayne Triggs.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Lola Keller.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 6:00 pm. at the Winchester Avenue Christian Church, with Pastor Benjamin Manning officiating. Family will receive friends at the church from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
