Obituary for Claude H Aikens

Claude H. Aikens, 78, Martinsburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at his residence.

Born on February 13, 1939 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Richard H. and Naomi Hardesty Aikens.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Clemons Aikens; two sons, Ricky Aikens and Kevin Aikens and one step-son, Doug Everhart; one daughter, Claudia Sheets; and one step-daughter, Kelly Everhart; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Wayne Aikens.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Aikens.

Family will receive friends on 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11:00AM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
