Charles Neiland  Youngblood
Charles Neiland Youngblood, 88, formally of Martinsburg, WV, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, at his home in Grovetown, Georgia.

Neiland was born in Great Cacapon, WV, the son of the late Charles W. and Mary B. Youngblood.

He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1968 after serving 20 years, immediately upon his release from active duty he spent the next 18 years employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Chantilly, VA.

Neiland was an avid NASCAR and horse racing fan , and loved watching old western movies with his close friend Jane Gawrys. Friends and family were especially important to him.

He is survived by his daughter Anna M. Brown and her husband Lloyd R. Brown of Grovetown, GA; grandchildren, Justin Lee Brown, Jaime Ann Brannon, Bryant Buchanan and numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Neiland was preceded in death by his wife Rita V. Youngblood, his son Charles Neiland Youngblood Jr., and his sisters, Doris Y. Sheeley and Phyllis M. Harper.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Brown Funeral Home King Street, Martinsburg.

Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2017, with Reverend Ken Walker officiating at Brown Funeral Home King Street Martinsburg. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
