Condolence: I'd like the family to know of my friendship with Nancy. I lived with the Krouse family, a neighbor.
Nancy and I were both left-handed! I was her neighbor from 1942-48.
I know she never married. If any of her family is living, please send me an email.
I was a foster child. Upon leaving Vanclevesville, I moved to Columbia, SC. I did marry a semi-local girl, Beverly Dodson.
Sincerely,
Max Brandes

Condolence: Ms. Needy and I worked together on issues that came before the Berkeley County Planning Commission. She was always well prepared and a true lady. I enjoyed my many conversations with her regarding county growth and development. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace, my friend.

Condolence: My deepest heartfelt condolences to your family . Losing ones we love is by far the most heartbreaking thing in life to bear. Two scriptures I find comfort in about the promise for the near future are John 5:28, 29, which promises that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will.. come out", followed by the beautiful time that Revelation 21:4 describes: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." A beautiful time our loved ones who are "sleeping" in death (John 11:11-13) will come back to life & to us right here on an earth of restored peace & health in the near future (Psalms 37:11,29), & we'll never have to worry about losing them again (1 Corinthians 15:26). I hope you'll find comfort in looking forward to the fulfillment of those promises as I do, & knowing that your loved one is not suffering but is at rest until you can see them again, healthy & happy, once again very soon, for all eternity. Condolence: I and the other members of the board of the Land Trust of the Eastern Panhandle came to know Nancy Needy when she put a conservation easement on her property almost ten years ago. We always looked forward to talking to her when we did our annual visits to monitor the easement. Her stories of her life and the area around Winebrenner were fascinating. We will all miss those visits. Our deepest condolences to her relatives

Condolence: I worked with Nancy Needy for three years at South Jr. High and she was a Presence in that school. She ran the library as a "tight ship" but understood children and how they function. She also reminded Principal Granville Shirley that she helped to open that school on the first day of its operation. She knew.
