On March 15, 2017, Sean Jaxson Faulkner earned his wings & won his battle with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He was born at UVA Children's Hospital on December 11, 2016, where he fought congenital heart disease for three months. Sean Jaxson had an enormous amount of fight inside him and he captured the hearts of many in his short life. He was an inspiration to many people and his family's biggest hero.

Sean Jaxson was the son of Steven Faulkner, Jr. and Chelsie Smith. He is survived by two brothers, Sakaree and Saint Faulkner; paternal grandparents, Steven Faulkner, Sr. and Gracie Faulkner; aunts, Devina Faulkner and family, Scherry Ross and family;
maternal grandparents, Gary Smith I, Carol and Eric Aikens; great grandparents, Linda and David Caplinger, and Betty Smith; uncle, Gary Smith II, and aunts, Rae-Ann Smith and family, Heather House, Hollie House Rodgers, and Ben Rodgers and family; as well as many great uncles, great aunts and cousins.

Services will be held at The House of the Lord at 929 N High St Martinsburg. Sean Jaxson's celebration of life will be Wednesday March 22, 2017 between 6pm - 9pm. On Thursday the family will lay him to rest in Rosedale Cemetery following a service at 1pm at The House of the Lord. The family asks that in honor of Sean Jaxson's battle with Congenital Heart Disease, everyone wear red to both services.
