Megann Renee Coffinberger Phillips, 33, of Chambersburg, PA passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Born August 8, 1983 in Martinsburg WV, she was the daughter of Steve and Barb Coffinberger of Hedgesville. She was a loving wife and mother to her husband Chris Phillips and her two beautiful baby boys Kaden and Jonathan. She is survived by her sisters Stephanie Browning (William) and Christianna Gainer; nieces Drew and Maggie Browning and Maeleigh Gainer and nephews Merrill and Steven Gainer. She is survived by her maternal grandparents Floyd and Gerty Kenney of Hedgesville; Uncles David (Bonnie), Randy (Tammy), Jim (Michelle) and Aunt Donna Kenney. Paternal grandparents Dennis and Francis Coffinberger of Kearneysville; Aunts Beverly Murphy (Pat), Missy Park (Robbie) and Chris Snow (Steve) and Uncle Tim Coffinberger (Beth). She is also survived by her Godmother Francie Fansler of Berkeley Springs, numerous cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her Uncle Denny Coffinberger, Aunt Vicki Coffinberger and Godfather Dave Fansler.
Megann graduated from Hedgesville High School Class of 2002. She was previously employed by Burger King of Hedgesville, Lowes of Martinsburg and the ATF.
Our family would like to thank the staff, doctors and nurses of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Words alone cannot describe their kindness and dedication to Megann and our family.
Prayer Warriors…. we thank each and every one of you for following Megann these last few weeks. Your prayers, cards of kindness and donations have helped carry us through this difficult time.
Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 2:00PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Louis Whitford officiating. Family will be receiving friends from 12:00PM to 2:00PM on Thursday before service.
