The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jean Elliott can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Elizabeth Anne Goethe, BA RVT RDMS
Condolence: I was a library science education student of Jean. She was most informative of the library field and the role libraries have in both preserving our past and defining the technology of the future via research methods. I know her legacy and commitment to libraries and reading for a lifetime will endure through generations of Shepherd graduates.

Condolence:

On behalf of the six chapters of the Northern District NSDAR: Anne Royall, Blennerhassett, Colonel William Lowther, James Wood, Ohio Valley and Wheeling Chapters,
we extend our very sincere condolences to Jean's family and friends.

Jean was a delight at State Conference and kept everyone straight. She would be serious and then have us laughing. She will be greatly missed this year in Charleston, but well remembered in our Memorial Service.

Sincerely,

Carolyn Kesterson
Northern District Director, WVDAR
