Sandy William "Oney"  Bullett
Sandy "Oney" William Bullett, Sr.,76, of Martinsburg, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 peacefully at his home.
Born June 16, 1940 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Charles William Bullet and Lula Bullett Woody Marks.
Bullett was a member of the United Methodist Church and an active member in his community. In 1957, he served in the Army Reserves for four years before planning a large family with his former wife, Ida Geneva Bullett.
He attended Ramer School and earned additional certificates in truck driving and carpentry. He was later employed at Corning Glass Works, Inc. for over 30 years until his retirement in 1997. He thoroughly enjoyed recreational sports which included golfing, fishing, and hunting.
He is survived by one sister, Rosabell Roman; one brother, James Bullett (Frances) both of Martinsburg; six children, Anthony James Hill of New Castle, DE, June Marie Bullett of Inwood, WV, Pamela Elaine Brooks (Harvey) of Fredericksburg, VA, Sandy William Bulllet, Jr. all of Martinsburg; Donia Melissa Sowell (Robert, Sr.) of Stafford, VA, and Tia Monique Bullett of Charlotte, NC; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Vincent Howard Bullett.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11:00AM at Brown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
