Gary Dale  Fowler
Gary Dale Fowler, 78, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Clary Grove.

Born August 11, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Adrian Dailey Fowler and Geraldine Marie Bloch Fowler.

He was a member of the Friendship United Methodist Church.

He was a graduate of Martinsburg High School, and attended Hagerstown Jr. College and the University of Maryland.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, N.AS. Chincoteague, VA - U.S.S. FDR, CVA-42, and went on to retire from the Shenandoah National Park.

He was a member of the Westminster Jaycees, Exhausted Roosters, and was a friend of Billy W. of A.A. since July 17, 1983.

He is survived by his three daughters, Diana Lynn Robinson, Geraldine Marie Fowler and Lou Ella Nikole Ferguson; 3 step-children, Amy Lynn Johnson, Leslie Jane Linton and Stephanie Bitner; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Adrienne Kief and JoAnn Unger; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene E. Fowler; two step-children, Mildred "Dody" Ayres, James Robert McDonald; and sister, Betty Lou Martin.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. of Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Henry officiating.

Interment will be private in Green Hill Cemetery.
