Obituary for Esther Elizabeth McDonald (Luttrell)
Esther Elizabeth Luttrell McDonald, 98 of Inwood, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born September 15, 1918 in Berkeley Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Neil Kane and Ivy Hite Kane.
She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church.
She had been a beautician for Hometown Beauty Shop.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Cassandra Smith, Diana Thompson, and Dedra "Dee Dee" Bennett; and her cousin, Eva Lickey of Inwood, whose mother raised Esther.
She was preceded in death by her son, Glenvel Custer, and three cousins, Russell and Cecil Butts, and Arnold Kain.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Brown Funeral Home's South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 1 pm at South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor Eddie Edmonds officiating.
Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
