Obituary for Gary Wayne Richmond

Gary Wayne Richmond, 54, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

Born in Harman, WV on February 6, 1962, Gary was the son of the late Charles Edward and Arbie Payne Richmond.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Friend Richmond and son, Daniel Wayne Richmond, both at home. Also surviving are a brother, Michael Edward and wife, Laura of Summit Point, WV and a sister, Sherry Lynn and husband, Michael Harris of Madison, IN. In addition are four nieces and three nephews, many cousins, an aunt, Blackie Payne, many friends, and his mother and father-in-law Claire and Joseph Friend, of Lexington, VA.

Mr. Richmond attended schools in Tucker County, WV and Loudoun County, VA. He worked at several different places in the Martinsburg area before retiring.

Family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, WV on Monday, January 16, 2017, from 2 pm to 3 pm. Service will be 3 pm at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Richmond.

Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Gary W. Richmond Memorial Fund, Bank of Charles Town, WV or at any BCT Branch location.
