Obituary for Ruth Louise Horton (Isdell)

Ruth Louise Isdell Horton, 89, of Inwood passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Hospice Inpatient Facility.

Born February 20, 1927 in Accomack County, VA she was the daughter of the late Samuel Henry Isdell and Sarah Katherine Spence Isdell.

She is survived by two sons; Michael Horton and wife, Norma of Inwood, WV, Chuck Alan Horton and wife, Sue of Harvey's Lake, PA; one grandchild, Jeannie McGeehan; two great-grandchildren, Lyssa Horton and Alexander McGeehan III; and one great-great-grandchild, Noah George; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, H.B. Horton of 67 years; three brothers and four sisters.

Family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 11:00AM to 12:00 Noon.

Interment to follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, VA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
