Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Ellison can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Charles Wilson "Chuck"  Ellison
Charles Wilson Ellison, 61, went to be with the Lord and family on Sunday, January 1, 2017.

Born September 11, 1955 in Richwood, WV he was the son of the late Wilson and Bonnie Knapp Ellison.

Chuck was a loving husband, father, pop pop, and brother. Nothing made him more proud than being a pop pop to his 3 grandbabies.

He was a long-time member and past president of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce. He served many years on the Jefferson County Development Authority Board and was chairperson for the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle.

He was proud to have completed the Leadership Jefferson County program as well as Leadership West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Andrew.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Connie; son, Chris and his wife, Christine of White Marsh, MD; daughter, Jillian and her husband, Justin of Martinsburg; grandchildren, Carter, Claire, and Harper; sisters, Debbie Jiles of Beckley, WV, Jennifer Spencer of Fenwick, WV, Sara Jean Bennett of Nettie, WV, and Carrie Ellison of Covington VA; and many nieces and nephews.

Chuck never met a stranger and leaves behind many, many friends.

A celebration of life will be open to friends at the Clarion Inn Conference Center in Harpers Ferry, WV on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
