Obituary for Pauline Virginia Clark (Bond)

Pauline Virginia Clark, 86 of Ranson passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the Jefferson Medical Center. Born February 25, 1930 in Barren Springs, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Richard Lee Bond and Creola Horton Bond. She worked as a cashier for Parking Management Inc. Pauline was passionate about her family, loved bingo, crocheting and bowling. She was a former member of the American Legion #71 and Charles Town Moose Lodge #948. She is survived by two sons, Roger Bond and wife Ellen May of Barren Springs, Virginia and Raymond Jones and wife Brenda of Blue Ridge, Virginia, three daughters, Peni Ratcliffe and husband Tim of Pearisburg, Virginia, Debora Breeden and husband James, Jr. of Kearneysville and Brenda Painter and husband Thomas of Ranson, two brothers, Garland Bond of Barren Springs, Virginia and Fred Bond of Willingboro, New Jersey, three sisters, Imoline Staples of Hillsville, Virginia and Freda Hancock of Pulaski, Virginia, seven grandchildren, Wendi Griggs, Jay Hough, Jackie Jones, Erik and Nina Hough, Jason and Justin Breeden, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Larry” Kenneth Clark, brother Jessie Bond and sister, Dora Taylor. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson Chapel with the Pastor Jay Watson officiating. Interment will be in the Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today.
