Mary Katherine McGowan, 74, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her residence.
Born December 17, 1942 in Hancock, MD she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Brooks Eddy and Leona Mann Eddy McCusker.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing; and reading her Bible every morning. She loved all the holidays, especially Easter.
She is survived by three sons, Walter K. McGowan, Glenn R. McGowan, and Mark A. McGowan; three daughters, Melody L. Miller, Melissa M. Jackson, and Theresa A. McGowan-Tate; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joan Frame.
Receiving Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 1:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
