Condolence From: Rick Hundstad
Condolence: My condolences to the family. I lived just down Woodside Road in Forest Hills where the family lived, and was best friends with Wandas brother Thomas while growing up. The entire family made an impact on my life and views of the world. The entire family was hard working, smart, dedicated to others, doing what was right, and the though of making the best of the American life style their parents risked their lives to have.

I continued to think about the family I used to know in these times where the door would not be as open for a great family that made such a difference to so many people's life in the actions of parents during the war, risking their lives for so many others, and followed by the children dedication in life to help others. I learned much in life about the value of freedom and hard work by example in this family.

Wandas mother Barbra, a couple months after I asked her about her experiences during the war (as she and her husband could not talk about it then) was still in tears when she described things they did. It helped me understand everyone in the family.

Condolence: My deepest heartfelt condolences to your family . Losing ones we love is by far the most heartbreaking thing in life to bear. Two scriptures I find comfort in about the promise for the near future are John 5:28, 29, which promises that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will.. come out", followed by the beautiful time that Revelation 21:4 describes: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." A beautiful time our loved ones who are "sleeping" in death (John 11:11-13) will come back to life & to us right here on an earth of restored peace & health in the near future (Psalms 37:11,29), & we'll never have to worry about losing them again (1 Corinthians 15:26). I hope you'll find comfort in looking forward to the fulfillment of those promises as I do, & knowing that your loved one is not suffering but is at rest until you can see them again, healthy & happy, once again very soon, for all eternity.

Condolence: We pass along our sincere sympathies. I've not seen you all (except Luke) in a long time- I'm sorry for that. We sure saw each other a lot when the kids were younger- didn't we? We are so. Dry sorry for your loss.

Condolence: I'm so sorry. My heart hurts for the pain of your loss. Since Jesus compared death to sleep (John 11:11-14), something that brings me comfort is knowing that there is no cozier & safer place to be than taking a 'nap' in God's memory until the time he promises to awake these loved ones we have lost in death, to be reunited with us. (John 15:28,29) He then promises to get rid of death forever & tenderly wipe away all the tears it has caused (Isaiah 25:8), & restore the earth to his original purpose of a peaceful, beautiful paradise. (Psalm 37:11) What a beautiful day that is to look forward to, being able to once again hold these ones we love & miss so dearly in our arms, & be held in their arms again too, & to know we can then do so under such perfect conditions forever. (Psalm 37:29) It's just around the corner. Sending hugs.

Condolence: I’m very sorry for your loss. In the Bible at Rev. 21:3, 4 it gives us a wonderful hope for the future, it talks about a life without tears, death, and pain. God promises us that for the future.
