Obituary for Brian Kevin Myers

Brian Kevin Myers, 52, of Hedgesville, passed suddenly at his home on October 21, 2016.

He was born October 28, 1963 in Washington, D. C.

He retired from the Dept. of Defense as a graphic artist. He had a keen mind and was an accomplished musician and artist.

He is survived by his parents, Samuel Myers and Wilma Kursey Myers; three uncles, Martin Myers, Charles “Jake” Kursey and wife, Jill, Floyd Kursey and wife, Michaela; seven aunts, Jessica Many, Madeline Brown, Beulah Wilk, Jessie Miller, Lucille Zubritsky and husband, Ed, Linda O’Roke and Faye Stokes and husband, J. R.; and other family and friends; and also his beloved dog, “Midnight.”

A graveside service will be held at Tomahawk Christian Cemetery at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 followed by a memorial service at the Winchester Avenue Christian Church at 12 noon with Pastor Ben Manning officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Berkeley Co. Humane Society, 554 Charles Town Rd., Martinsburg WV 25405.
