Obituary for Jennings T. Weigle

Jennings T. Weigle, 96, of Hedgesville, WV passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Clary Grove.

Born May 18, 1920 in Cherry Run, Morgan County, WV he was the son of the late Charles Trone and Emma Jane Bowers Weigle.

He retired in 1983 with over 30 years of service from Fairchild Industries; and a member of Snyders Bible Church.

Jennings was a veteran of the US Army and during World War II he was stationed in the Asian-Pacific Theater. He was a member of Berkeley Lodge #37 A.F. & A.M.

He is survived by two sons, Charles R. Weigle and wife, Paige, and Randy B. Weigle; four daughters, Scarlett A. Ward and husband, Wayne, Brenda L. White and husband, Robert, Melvina Joan Johnson, and Dreama E. Shanholtz; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Darrell Weigle; and a sister, Martha Henry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola F. Weigle; five brothers, Oscar, Leslie, Larry, L. Gibbs, and Marvin L. Weigle; and two sisters, Reba Oliver and Agnes Barnes.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 15 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Funeral will be at 1:00PM on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Snyders Bible Church with Pastor Donald Dick officiating.

Interment will be in Snyders Cemetery with Masonic services and Military honors.
