Obituary for Roger Dale Markley

Roger Dale Markley, 63, of Hedgesville, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at his home.
Born November 6, 1952, in Martinsburg, he was the son of Frances Virginia Smith Markley and the late Harold Otis Markley.
He was a graduate of Hedgesville High School and been employed with Schmidt's Bakery.
Roger was a great hunter and loved to fish, he enjoyed working in his sawmill and was an outdoors man.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Oden Markley; one daughter, Angela Hairfield and husband Paul; one brother Terry Larue Markley and wife Connie; two sisters, Mary Daniels and husband Dennis, Barbara Noll and husband George.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Markley, Jr.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
