The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Vanorsdale can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I’m so sorry for your loss, may you find comfort in what the Bible says at John 5:28: “Do not be amazed at this, the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice (Jesus) and come out.” This has brought me so much comfort to know I will see my love ones again. The only thing that will remove the pain we feel is seeing that person again.

Condolence: He went by a lot of names and titles.

To me he will always be "The Chief".

A strong leader who left no confusion on where he stood.
