Obituary for Trudy Diane Brown (Taulton)

Trudy Diane Brown, 59, of Charles Town, passed away Wed, Aug. 2, 2016, at her home. Born Oct. 7, 1956, in Charles Town, she was the daughter of the late James William Taulton and Elizabeth Mae Spates Taulton.
She was a graduate of Jefferson High School and a member of the American Legion. She was creative, artistic, and full of knowledge. She loved reading and history, especially family history, and blue grass music. She enjoyed running the family business with her former husband, Charlie Brown, and cherished his family.
She is survived by two sisters: Tammy Taulton, of Charles Town, and Debra Printz, and companion Rodney Connelly, of Leetown; niece, Amber Printz, of Charles Town; nephew, Petey Connelly, of Leetown; the Brown family, and many extended family members and friends, including her best friend of more than 40 years, Sherri Lee, of Charles Town.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Sat. Aug. 6, 2016 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Pastor Floyd “Bucky” Chapman officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in her honor may be made to the National Institute of Mental Health, Gift Fund, 6001 Executive Boulevard, Rm 6101, MSC 9655, Bethesda, MD 20892-9655.
