Obituary for Roscoe Stanley Sites

Roscoe Stanley Sites, Sr., 77, Gerrardstown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 22, 2016 at his home.
Born on May 25, 1939 in Petersburg, WV, he was the son of the late James Michael and Mary Catherine Riggleman Sites.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been employed by Crown Cork and Seal as a machine operator/mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann McDaniel Sites; three sons, Roger L. Sites of Winchester, VA, Roscoe S. Sites, Jr. of Stephens City, VA and Stephen Sites of Spring Mills; two step-sons, James David Boyd and Philip William Boyd both of Martinsburg; two daughters, Elizabeth Hamilton of Wardensville, WV and Diane Smith of Winchester, VA; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Robbie, Kendra, Matthew, Samantha, Gordon, Matthew Alan, and Mark Ryan; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Sites of Virginia and Harold Sites of Gainesboro, VA; and two sisters, Dorothy Crites of Gainesboro, VA and Helen Flowers of Winchester, VA.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Sites; four brothers, Walter, Melvin, Warnie and Samuel Sites; and two sisters, Virgie VanMeter and Connie Turner.
Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at South Berkeley Chapel . Military honors will be conducted in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
