Obituary for Hans Lods Eriksen

Hans Lods Eriksen, 83, of Martinsburg passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.

Born May 28, 1933 in Denmark he is the son of the late Erik Eriksen and May Schroader Eriksen.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean E. Barbour Eriksen; son, Richard B. Schlack, II and wife, Elizabeth "Libby"; four grandchildren, Christian, Bernadeth, Robert, and Erika; six great-grandchildren, Kristine, Christopher, Ashley, Victoria, Aiden, and Hailey; and cousin, Irene Tygersen.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mette Schou and two brothers -in-law, Per Schou and Per Berge.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 1:00PM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Ken Walker officiating.

Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
