Violet "Minnie"  Dunham (Puffenburger)
Violet “Minnie” Puffenburger Dunham, 78, of Glengary, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at her daughter and son-in-law’s home.

Born August 24, 1937 in Berkeley Co., she was the daughter of the late Leo E. Puffenburger and Bertha Hite Puffenburger Palmer.

She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church.

She retired from the 3-M Company and was co-owner of the Dunham Back Hoe Service.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and John Chapman of Glengary; sister, Ella Mae Puffenburger LeDane of Martinsburg; a number of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and her beloved Boston Terrier, “Charlie.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Max R. Dunham, on April 6, 2009, and infant daughter, Barbara Ann Dunham.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Brown Funeral Homes’ South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the South Berkeley Chapel with Rev. Charles Conley officiating.

Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville WV 25430.
