Donna Lee Haines departed this earthly life on Friday, May 6, 2016 surrounded by her family and caregivers. She is now in her Heavenly home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ after being in Hospice care since November.
Born on December 22, 1929, Donna Lee (Poisal) Haines was the daughter of the late Donald and Virginia Dunham Poisal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary S. Haines and brother-in-law, Robert Dunham.
Donna Lee graduated from Martinsburg High School in 1949 and worked locally until her marriage when she became a full-time housewife.
She was a former member of Marlowe Assembly of God where she once served as the church's Librarian and a Sunday School teacher and was also involved in other areas of ministry within the church. She also enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her sister, Lois (Poisal) Dunham; daughter, Ellen Kline and husband, William; granddaughter, Emily Kline; brothers-in-law, Tom Catlett and wife, Ruth; Richard Haines and wife, Donna Kay; sister-in-law, Kay Palmer; nieces, Tanya Carpenter and Charlene Kelbaugh; nephew, Rick Hilliard; and several cousins and their families on both the Poisal and Dunham side of the family.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 1:00PM at Brown Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
