Mary Josephine  Mattax (Giovanoni)
Mary Josephine Mattax, 47, of Martinsburg passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born September 14, 1968 in Hagerstown, MD she is the daughter of Richard Giovanoni of Hagerstown and the late Mary Jackson Giovanoni.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She had been employed with Citi Bank as a fraud analyst.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Peter G. Mattax; two daughters, Mary Mattax and Emma Edgeson and husband, Adam; three brothers, Richard Giovanoni, Jr., Stephen Giovanoni, and Father Peter Giovanoni; and a sister, Lynda Heffernan.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Eric Hall, celebrant, Father Peter Giovanoni as co-celebrant.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or National M.S. Foundation.
