Gary Randolph Russell, 75, of Inwood, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born February 17, 1941 in Martinsburg, WV he was the son of the late Charles Randolph and Georgia Aurita Whitacre Russell.
He had been employed with Capitol Cement for 38 years and retired as an electrician.
He loved to golf, bowling, hunting, and bingo.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Linda Kerns Russell; one son, Tim Russell and wife, Jeannie; one daughter, Renee Busey and husband, Chad; two step-children, Tammy Myer and Timothy Thorne; ten grandchildren, Stephanie, Kaitlyn, and Adam Busey, Lori and TJ Russell, Michael Hayes, Cameron, Aaron, and Kaaron Thorne, and Cole Myer; one great-grandchild, Aden Coffran; and two brothers, Mike and Kenny Russell.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11:00AM at the South Berkeley Chapel with Rev. J. Clyde Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Brigg's Animal Adoption Center, 3731 Berryville Pike, Charles Town, WV 25414.
