The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Donald Minger can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Jackie
Condolence: Sorry for your loss, I just wanted to share briefly a scripture that has brought me comfort. It is found at: 1 Corinthians 15:26 which states “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing” God promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Isn’t that a wonderful promise?

Condolence: Don was and excellent colleague and friend. He was always honest, fair and professional. He enjoyed telling stories about his military experience and working at Terre Haute. During a trip we made to Terre Haute I remember he knew everyone at the local American Legion (or maybe it was the VFW). He loved his family and I know they will miss him very much. Today I am saddened that I did not stay in touch with him after I retired.

Condolence: I have been sitting here for a while in front of this blank page trying to formulate what I was going say. I am so saddened by Don's passing. As his boss in Program Review, he was always supportive of me as manager. The more we all worked togther, Don, Max, Jim and after Jim's retirement, Deb and I became family. We spent more time with each other, than we did our own family.
As Deb Shepherd relayed in her post, Don was always professional, fair, and loved his family. What more can you say about a person's success in life.
Please know that he positively touched a lot of people's life. His light went out too soon.
