Obituary for Ophelia Mae Orndorff

Ophelia Mae Orndorff, 82, of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 in Martinsburg.

Born October 31, 1933, in Charles Town, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ella Mae Wharton.

She was a graduate of Charles Town High School. She retired from Miller Apple Valley dealership after working there from 1985 to 2006.

Member of Westview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son James Young, Jr.; two grandchildren, Amy May and Amanda Courtney; three great-grandchildren, Lindsay May, Karly May, and Kristyn Courtney; two brothers, John Wharton and Charles Wharton; and one sister, Wanda Lemmon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Orndorff; one daughter, Debra Ann Collis; two brothers, Stewart Wharton and Buddy Wharton; and one sister, Beverly Catlett.

Mother loved the Lord and was an active member of her church.

She was a huge fan of Regis and Kath Lee and enjoyed feeding and watching birds off of her deck.

Services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Westview Baptist Church, 301 S. Louisiana Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25401.
