Obituary for Ernest Seay Lauderdale
Ernest Seay Lauderdale, 75, of Martinsburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at his residence.
Born June 1, 1940 in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands he is the son of Innocencia Kuntz Haynie and step-father, Paul Haynie and the late Gerald Ottis Lauderdale.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed tinkering on his '55 Chevy. He was a family man who enjoyed his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy Argraves Lauderdale; two sons, Jerry Lauderdale and wife, Christine, Rick Lauderdale and wife, Anne; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
