Hilda Catherine Snyder, 92, of Hedgesville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.

Born October 4, 1922 in Berkeley Co., she was the daughter of the late Charles Allen and Hilda Jane Shriver Rockwell.

She was a member of the Allensville Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by three daughters, Hilda Kettering of Hedgesville, Barbara Jones of Hedgesville and Agnes Lee Roderick of Portland, Maine; one brother, George Rockwell of Berkeley Springs, one sister, Diane Robinson of Hedgesville; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two special friends, Dale and Gale Gish.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Woodrow W. Snyder; two brothers, Toby Rockwell and Donald Rockwell; and three sisters, Louise Sipes, Pearl Butts and Betty Rockwell.

Family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Hedgesville Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Edmonds officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
