Obituary for Kenneth Franklin Davis

Kenneth Franklin Davis, 80, of Kearneysville, passed away Tues., Sept. 29, 2015, at home while under the care of Hospice and surrounded by his loving family. Born March 23, 1935, in Charles Town, he was the son of the late John Edward Davis and Florence Kesner.
Kenneth was a member of the Victory Free Will Baptist Church and was an orchard worker at the KTFREC for 43 years. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who loved watching baseball and football. He was a diehard NY Giants fan.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Brenda Faye Lang Davis, at home; three sons: Kenneth Davis Jr., and girlfriend Susan Whetzel, of Middleway, Buddy Grove, of Charles Town, and Franklin Hose, and wife Sissy Long, of Summit Point; two daughters: Cathy Hose, of Inwood, and Annie Hose, of Middleway; two brothers: Leroy Davis, and wife Doris, and Bobby Davis, and wife Peggy, all of Kearneysville; one sister, Helen Grim, of Sharpsburg, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Johnny Davis, and one sister, Dorothy Davis.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Mon., Oct. 5, 2015 at the Victory Free Will Baptist Church with the Pastors Jimmy Williams and Scott Truman officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Sun., Oct 4, 2015 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home.
