Obituary for Kenneth Arthur Owens

Kenneth Arthur Owens, 76, of Bunker Hill, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born September 27, 1938 in Bunker Hill, WV he was the son of the late Guy and Pearl DeHaven Owens.
He was a member of Mt. View Church of the Brethren; and retired from General Motors.
He was a veteran of the US Army.
He was a member of Big Ridge Hunt Club, an avid Musselman fan, and an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by a son, Junior Owens and wife, Kathy of Shanks, WV; a daughter, Deborah Greenfield and husband, Scott of Bunker Hill; the love of his life two grandchildren, Nathan Owens and Jessica Jenkins; two step-grandchildren, Daniel Ginevan, II and Matthew Ginevan; two brothers, Homer Owens of Bunker Hill, Floyd Owens of Falling Waters; and one sister, Hazel Smith of Winchester, VA.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Owens.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 1:00PM at the South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Pastor David Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Paynes Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Musselman High School Football Boosters, PO Box 1105, Inwood, WV 25428.
