Obituary for David Henry Murray
David Henry Murray, 70, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Care Haven while under the care of Hospice.
Born September 6, 1944 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late John W. Murray and Irene V. (Allen) Murray.
He was a member of the Second Baptist Church and retired from Ackers Plastics.
He is survived by his brother, Ray Murray and wife, Janie, of Winchester, Virginia; 5 sisters, Mary Mills, with whom he has resided since 1986 providing a loving and caring home for him, Dorothy Britner, Delores Barber, Helen Engle and husband, David, and Wanda Ceravalo and husband, Norman, all of Martinsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, John Murray, Jr., James Edward Murray and his twin brother, Claude T. Murray; and sister, Margaret Anderson.
Service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Johnson officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior the service from 10 am to 11 am.
Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle or Second Baptist Church.
