Obituary for Walter William Poling
Walter William Poling, 69, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at University of Maryland Hospital.
Born January 30, 1946 in Terra Alta, WV he is the son of Lucy Hott Poling of Terra Alta, WV and the late Leslie Poling.
He was owner of S&W Construction; proud Republican; and a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a loving father and grandfather. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Walter Aaron Poling and, Melissa; four daughters, Lisa M. Beitz and Brian, Crystal Burke and Bill, Rebecca Canby and Rodney, and Angel Robbins and Jeremy; eight grandchildren, Joshua Siford, Lindsey Siford, Andrew Burke, Justin Burke, Courtney McDonald, Kelsey Robbins, Landon Beitz, and Ella Poling; eleven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Junior, Leonard, Bradley, and Ronnie Poling; three sisters, Mary Sparr, Linda Moyer, and Teresa Poling; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Poling.
A "Celebration of Life Service" will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1:00PM at 1486 Poor House Road, Martinsburg.
