Tommy was a good man. I wish I shared more of his traits. He was one of the strongest men I knew, yet he was meek. He was proud, yet humble. He had a great sense of humor but never at some other's expense. He liked to have a good time but didn't put up with nonsense. Tommy was a good and reliable friend. I married a young girl that was very private who's life evolved around our immediate family. I lost touch with many of my friends but never lost my sense of comradeship and love of them. On rare occasions, when I ran into them it was like we had never lost touch. Tommy was such a friend. We all have lost many loved ones. I look forward to when we shall all meet up. at that heavenly vacation destination for where many have already departed. Until then we have to live one day at a time if not for our benefit but for our loved ones. May God give you serenity and help in this trying time.
