Obituary for Augustine Alexander Butcher

Augustine Alexander Butcher, 92, of Martinsburg, was born into Eternal Life on Tuesday, June 16, 2016 at the VA Medical Center.
Born on August 2, 1922 in Blair County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Joseph Butcher and Barbara Bittorie Butcher.
He was Boatswains Mate Chief of the U. S. Navy and retired after twenty-two years of service.
He is survived by his brother, William Butcher, Sr. of Martinsburg; and many nieces and nephews; also loving sisters- in-law, Faye Smith, Julia Small and husband John.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anne Kilmer Butcher on January 13, 2012; three brothers, George, Nick and Frank Butcher; and sister, Pauline Williams.
Family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home Friday, June 19, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 19, at Rosedale Cemetery with Father Brian Shoda officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the United States Navy.
