Obituary for Donald Wayne Hite

Donald Wayne Hite, 85, of Martinsburg, passed away Saturday, June 13,2015, at Hospice Inpatient Facility.

Born December 1, 1929 in Martinsburg, the son of the late Robert Hite and Helen Kesner Hite.

He was retired from General Motors.

Mr. Hite was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Martinsburg Moose Lodge, VFW, American Legion, and Red Man in Williamsport, MD.

He is survived by two sons, Terry Hite and wife, Kim, and Jim Hite and wife, Belinda; one daughter, Susie Russler; six grandchildren, Charlie, Jeremy, Matthew, Jamie, Sabrina
and Hannah; four great-grandchildren, Garrett, Curtis, Kaylee and Zander; and a sister, Jean McBee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna V. Hite; one great-granddaughter, Baby J.; three brothers, Harold, Bob and Kenneth Hite; two sisters, Mary Corter and Elizabeth Wall.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16th, at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Steven McCarty officiating. Interment with military honors will be held at Hedgesville Cemetery.
