Marilyn Dee  Catlett (Sensel)
Marilyn Dee Catlett, 82, of Hedgesville, passed away surrounded by her children on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle S. Catlett.
Born April 30, 1933 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late David Daniel Sensel and Mary Clark Wilson.
She was a member of the Hedgesville United Methodist Church.
She was a teacher's special aid assistant for Berkeley Co. Schools. She had been a member of the Eastern Star; a den mother with the Cub Scouts, and a youth leader at her church. Her life was devoted to her family and children.
She is survived by her four sons, David Mark Catlett and wife, Sally, of Winchester, Virginia, Richard Stephen Catlett and wife, Shelly of Hedgesville, and Timothy Dean of Hedgesville, and Andrew Lyle Catlett and wife, Karen, of Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters, Mary Sue Catlett and husband, Dennis Donaldson of Hedgesville, and Anne Maria Riser of Hedgesville; nine grandchildren, Brady Catlett, Marisa Gallahan, Leah Daniel, Ryan Catlett, Jordan Riser, Sydney Catlett, Mason Riser, Andrew Catlett, and Jackson Riser; and two great grandchildren, Ava Daniel and Estelle Catlett.
Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home.
Service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Hedgesville United Methodist Church with Dr. Dennis E. Jackman officiating, 201 S. Mary Street, Hedgesville, WV 25427. Interment will be in Hedgesville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Section of Hedgesville Library, 209 N Mary St., Hedgesville WV 25427 or Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
