Randy D. Abshire, 57, of Martinsburg went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2015 while under the care of Hospice.
Born January 14, 1958 he is the son of Louise Abshire and the late Donald Abshire.
He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.
He was a loving father to his daughter, Lauren, who was his whole world. In addition to his mother and daughter, Lauren; one sister, Sherry LeMaster and husband, Bill; nephew, Steve Criswell and wife, Misty; niece, Alison Lewis; great-nieces, Lindsey and Sidney Criswell and Ashlynn Lewis; great-nephews, Bryson and Alix Lewis; very special aunt and uncle, Bernie and Gary Everhart who helped care for him during his illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Abshire, and his grandparents, Ernest and Lyda Abshire and Floyd and Verna Everhart.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 1:30PM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. John Yost officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
