Obituary for Denise Grantham (Grantham)

Denise Grantham, 41, of Newport News, VA passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at her residence.

Born January 21, 1974 in Charleston, WV she is the daughter of Thomas Grantham and wife, Annette of Shepherdstown, WV and Marie Cain McGee and husband, Lester of Parkersburg, WV.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by four daughters, Miyisha Hosby, Aaliyah Grantham, Erica Grantham, and Alexis McNeil; one son, Jasean Jackson; five brothers, Thomas, Jr., Terry, Carlos, Michael, and Robert; two sisters, Maria and Brandy; a special cousin, Tammy; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her significant other, Felicia McCleod.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; uncles Robert and Henry Grantham; and aunt Andrea Grantham.

Family will receive friends on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1 pm at St. John's Baptist Church in Shepherdstown with Rev. Curtis Gill officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
