Obituary for Mary Rae Holben (Myers)
Mary Rae Holben, 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her home.
Born December 31,1942 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Raymond F. Myers and Mary Horner Myers.
She was a member of the House of the Lord on High Street in Martinsburg, where she played the piano before her illness.
Mary Rae was a 1960 graduate of Martinsburg High School and a 1965 graduate of Shepherd University.
She shared her talent in weddings and many churches in the area.
She is survived by one grandson, Tad Dourakos, one granddaughter, Danielle Brown, three grandchildren, Kalie, Jaden, and Elias; two God children, Jarred and Gracie McCoy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Holben; and two sons, David & Deino Dourakos.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 2:00PM at South Berkeley Baptist Church with Pastor Pat McCoy officiating.
Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home.
