Daisy V.  Greene (Kramerage)
Daisy V. Greene, 96, known to all who knew her as, Nan, of Martinsburg passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Canterbury.
Born September 25, 1918 in Blair County, PA she was the daughter of John S. Kramerage and Mary Verbonetts Kramerage of Blairton. She was of the Catholic faith. She was a graduate of the WV College of Beauty Culture 1939. And during World War II worked at Berkeley Woolen Mill and made blankets. Before entering Canterbury she enjoyed dog sitting for her grand dogs Hunter and Sienna.
Over the years she was a babysitter to many family members including her grandson Michael E. Noll who was her pride and joy. She was always proud of her flowers and the tomatoes she grew. There was always gum in the pantry for when the kids stopped in to see her.
Daisy enjoyed many years at the cabin on the Potomac and enjoyed entertaining and feeding all who came. She especially enjoyed the friends of her grandson (she called them the kids) who came to enjoy the river and they always enjoyed teasing her.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Ann Noll and grandson, Michael E. Noll and his wife, Megan; three sisters, Frances Dells, Gladys Shade and Helen Grove; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Greene in 2001; three brothers, Stephen Kramerage, John S. Kramerage, Jr., and Tony Kramerage; and two sisters, Mary Mickelinc and Barbara Smith.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 6:00PM to 8:00PMat the Brown Funeral Home.
Interment prayers will be said at graveside service on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 1:00PM at Rosedale Cemetery with Father Cruz officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contrbutions may be made to Berkeley County Humane Society, 554 Charles Town Road, Martinsburg, WV 25405
