Gilbert O'Loan  Lockwood
Gilbert O'Loan Lockwood, 78, of Berkeley Springs, WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Autumn Acres in Berkeley Springs.
Born June 6, 1936 in Riverside, CA he was the son of the late Charles Waldo and Lula Maxina O'Loan Lockwood.
He had been a Deputy Director with the Department of Interior. He was also a retired Methodist minister where he had served locally, Greensburg and Mt. Wesley United Methodist Churches.
He was a volunteer with the American Cancer Society.
Gil's favorite holiday was Christmas when he enjoyed making and delivering his favorite Christmas sausage.
He is survived by one son, Richard G. Lockwood and wife, Jackie; two daughters, Kim Mason and husband, John, and Kelly Jean Fry; six grandchildren, Matthew Lockwood, Ben Lockwood, Josh Lockwood, Jonathan Mason, Alex Siler, and Ashley Mason; and one brother, Chuck Lockwood.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Lockwood; and a daughter, Cathryn S. Lockwood.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11:00AM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Terri Cofiell officiating. Interment will be in Harmony Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autumn Acres or Harmony United Methodist Church.
Family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the service.
