The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Shanholtzer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Peachy Staley
Condolence: Jim was an icon in so many ways when I was growing up. He and my mother's Uncle Bun Brichner were creative and quality craftsmen who worked so well together. Jim and Elsie (mom's cousin) were frequent visitors in our home. We all loved Jim and Elsie. I will forever treasure earrings they gave me when I graduted and beautiful silver candlesticks when Jim and I were married. Jim was always so kind and to me and he and my Jim could always share a little funny story. So many sweet memories of Jim. Our hearts and prayers are with his wonderful family. God Bless. Love, Peachy and Jim

Condolence: We have been 'across the street' neighbors to Jim, since we moved to Spring Mills in 1994. While we didn't know him well, he was always friendly and kind, with a nice 'hello' and 'how are you?' We extend our sympathy and prayere to his family.

Condolence: I have a special place in my heart for my "Uncle Jim." He was a wonderful husband to my Aunt Bessie and a lifelong friend of my dad, Joe Burkhart. Although he was a quiet man most of the time, he soon let you know how intelligent he was by the conversations you had with him. May God bless him and his two sons who have many good memories to sustain them and their families at this difficult time!
