Obituary for Leroy Landis
Leroy Landis, 87, of Falling Waters, passed away, Friday December 19, 2014 at the Williamsport Retirement Village.
Born October 8, 1927, in Berkeley County, he was the son of the late Leroy Franklin Landis and Grace Viola Tosten Landis.
He retired from the Hagerstown Canteen Company.
Leroy was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II.
He liked the outdoors and wildlife, he was a jack of all trades and very hands on.
He is survived by three brothers, Jerry, Norman, and Lester Landis.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Clarence Landis.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 22, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Lloyd officiating.
IMilitary graveside services will be held in Harmony Cemetery.
