Obituary for Harry L McCormick

Harry L. McCormick, 80, of Martinsburg, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014, peacefully at his home.

Born on August 22, 1934 in Gerrardstown, he was the son of the late William and Julia McCormick.

Harry was a veteran of the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of McCormick's Fence for 50 plus years.

He is survived by his four children, Rick McCormick (Cindy), Jeff McCormick (Therise), Gail McCormick and David McCormick (Tracie); eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Harry was the last of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Stokes and Arethea Sanbower; and one brother, William W. McCormick, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday. December 4, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home.
