Louis Paul  Brooks
Louis Paul Brooks, 83, of Martinsburg, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at his residence.
Born March 6, 1931 in Blairton, WV he was the son of the late Howard and Mary Grantham Brooks.
He was a veteran of the US Marines.
He was a graduate of Sumner Ramer School.
He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and retired foreman with Capitol Cement Corporation.
He is survived by one son, Keith Brooks; two daughters, Denise Smith and husband, Daryl and Melissa Brooks; two grandchildren, Dylan and Doryn Smith; three siblings, Juanita Dotson, Edna Diggs, and Mildred Weaver; survived by an aunt, Bernice Parks; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline "Peggy" Brooks; two children, Gwendolyn and Louis Curtis Brooks; and three siblings, Leon, Leroy, and Deloris Brooks.
Family will receive friends on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 1:00PM at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
