Obituary for Larry Wayne "Actor" McCarty
Larry Wayne “Actor” McCarty, 75, of Falling Waters, passed away October 23, 2014, at the Chambersburg Hospital, PA.
Born December 8, 1938 in Berkeley County, he was the son of the late Ernest McIntire and Evelyn McCarty McIntire.
Mr. McCarty retired from the Schmidt’s Bakery.
He was of the Christian Faith.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of Am-Vets Post # 38.
He is survived by the love of his life, Patricia “Patsy” Ann Barrett Elliott; two daughters, Tina Marie Withrow, and husband, Scott, and Rebecca Mallott; four grandchildren, Ashley Alvarez-Villa, Amber Mallott, Jessica Mallott, and Chase Whitrow; three brothers, Calvin McCarty, Donald “Mac” McIntire and James McIntire; and one sister, Deborah Young.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Hitchcock; two brothers, Warren and Walter McIntire.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27th, at the funeral home with Pastor Jack Rudy officiating. Interment will be held at Allensville Cemetery.
