Obituary for Darlene Coles (Potter)

Darlene Potter Coles, 93, Bunker Hill, WV, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Grenich Care Home in Bunker Hill.

Born on May 17, 1921, in Bricelyn, MN, she was the daughter of the late McKinley Allen and Almina Theowidia Mondale Potter.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Richard H. Coles and wife, Kathy of Gambrills, MD, David C. Coles and wife, Debbie of Bunker Hill, and Frederick J. Coles and wife, Cindy of Elkton, MD; one daughter, Carolyn Coles Morris of Hagerstown, MD; 16 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren..

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Coles, Jr., and a brother, C. Frederick Potter.

Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Services will be held at 10:00AM on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at South Berkeley Chapel with Bishop John Carpenter officiating. Interment will be in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town.
